There is hope – his name is Jesus!

I’m sorry you’re sad and deep in despair. That you’re drowning in sorrow that you’re too scared to share.

There’s a blackness around you that you can’t seem to shake. You’re swirling down deeper with each breath that you take.

You feel chained in a prison that no one can see. You’ve tried all you could, but you just can’t break free.

Well, there is an answer to your emptiness and pain. There’s hope that is waiting to replace brokenness and shame.

His name is JESUS and his promise for you is that if you put your trust in him, he will carry you through.

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. – Romans 10:13

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. – Hebrews 6:19

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. – Isaiah 26:3

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. – Psalm 31:24

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. – Psalm 62:5

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:21-26

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, – 1 Peter 1:3
